Geely and Renault Advance Local Production in Brazil

On September 16, Geely and Renault Group met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to share updates on their joint venture in Brazil, including new product plans and investment initiatives, and to explore ways to support the country's transition toward a greener and smarter automotive industry.

Just one day earlier, on September 15, the first locally produced Geely EX5 EM-i rolled off the production line at the Ayrton Senna Industrial Complex in Brazil, marking an important step forward in Geely's localization strategy. With the Geely EX2 scheduled to follow in December, the partnership is expanding its local product offering and strengthening its presence across Latin America.
